History of Precious Metalworks

Precious Metalworks has been in business since 2006. It is owned and operated by Jeff Hall. Jeff studied jewelry at George Brown College in Toronto Ontario, Canada from 2000-2003. After leaving the Jewelry Arts program he ventured back to the area he grew up to find employment. Jeff started working at a jewelry store in Woodstock Ontario, where he really fell in love with working with precious metals. A large part of working in a jewelry store is repairs and that is where he honed his skills. Custom made pieces were the best part of the job. It gave him chance to explore his creative side and find a style that’s all his own. In 2008, Jeff’s life took a left turn and he ended up in Parry Sound where he now resides. He has fallen in love with the wilderness, and tranquility of the Muskoka region. He now works for himself out of his home. He enjoys being able to be a full time jeweler, and privileged to be doing it in such a beautiful area.
